Jade Demon


Jade demon sculpture created with laser scanning, Remesher, ZBrush, 3ds Max, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine. To create this piece I laser scanned a jade sculpture I purchased in Vietnam using an Einstar scanner and processed the point cloud inside Einstar's StarVision software. I exported the model to Remesher for quick mesh fixes then brought it into ZBrush for fine tuning, unwrapping, and creating a high and low poly versions. I used 3ds Max to inspect the mesh and make sure that everything looked good before bringing it into Substance Painter for high to low baking and texturing. The final model was brought into Unreal Engine for rendering.
